The better you get, the faster you work—and when you upgrade your gear, everything just gets smoother and more exciting.

Exploring is a huge part of your adventure. There are nine different mines to find, and no two are the same. A few are small and quick to dig through. Others are sprawling, multi-level mazes packed with secret tunnels and deep pockets of gold. Every mine has its own personality and set of hazards. REPLACED

If you cut corners on support beams, those tunnels might cave in on you—so you’ll need to think ahead if you want to come out with a fortune.

The story’s set in Alaska, right during the madness of the 1896 gold rush. Whether you’re sticking to the main quest or getting lost in some weird sidetrack, there’s always a reason to keep pushing forward.

And it’s not all about swinging a pickaxe. Surviving out here is half the battle. You’ll scavenge for supplies, make your own tools, cook meals, and keep your energy up in a place that’s cold enough to kill. Hunting puts meat and furs on your table, and staying warm is the difference between getting rich or freezing before you hit pay dirt.
