Kriegsfront Tactics throws you into a harsh future where humanity already lost the fight against rogue AI. Down on the ground, it’s nothing but wrecked war machines, twisted artificial intelligence, and endless battlefields. The last bits of civilization cling to survival in cities hovering high above.

You lead a worn-out mercenary crew, crossing this wasteland, picking up dangerous jobs, scavenging for resources, and fighting just to make it through each day.

You get a mix of open-world exploration and deep tactical battles here. Wander wherever, from hidden settlements and machine-owned territories to enemy strongholds, random encounters, and side quests. Each mission affects your crew’s reputation—recruit new pilots, unearth stories, and slowly turn your squad into legendary mercenaries. Corebreaker

The combat’s got a twist. It uses a planning-and-execution system, inspired by those high-stakes anime mech fights. You plot your moves during the Planning Phase, set each pilot’s tactics, and then sit back as the battle plays out in real time. Every second feels crucial. Pilots handle different mech subsystems, like weapons, movement, cooling, and tactical support. And thanks to the Timeline System, you’re always juggling aggression, defense, positioning, and heat management in the chaos of combat.

But it’s not just about machines—the pilots matter just as much. Injuries, panic attacks, emotional breakdowns, stress… all those things make a big impact mid-mission. Sometimes, a burst of courage or teamwork flips the outcome. When the fighting winds down, you head back to your airship. It’s more than just a mobile base; it’s home. Crew members train, cook, relax, and build friendships or even rivalries, and all those relationships affect your team’s performance when you head back into the field.

Customization’s huge. Collect parts on missions, build your own war machines, and tweak everything—armor, mobility, ammo, cooling, and weapon loadouts. Every new mech frame brings more options and lets you shape your squad’s style the way you want.

Really, this is a story about survival and the people inside the machines. Mechs can be rebuilt after a fight, but a fallen pilot is gone for good. Every choice carries weight, whether you’re dealing with morale, relationships, or the crew’s fate. As you keep fighting and making tough calls, you start to piece together not just what happened to this world, but who your crew becomes when staring down extinction.
