GAME OVERVIEW

This game wears its inspiration on its sleeve. If you grew up playing Wizardry, Might and Magic VI–VIII, The Bard’s Tale, Eye of the Beholder, or Legend of Grimrock, you’ll spot the influence right away.

The name even hides a secret meaning in the lore, just waiting for sharp-eyed players to figure it out—and honestly, we can’t wait to see what wild theories you come up with. We’re a small team from Ukraine, putting everything we’ve got into a game for people who love old-school RPGs as much as we do. This is the kind of adventure we want to play ourselves, and we hope it hits home for you too.

Theorycrafters will have a field day. The Class Constructor lets you mix and match classes for wild multiclass combos, so you can dream up just about any hero you want. With tons of classes and skills to choose from, the build options are almost endless.

As you venture deeper, you’ll collect resources you can pour back into your town. It’s a bit like building up your base in Heroes of Might and Magic. Grandma, Is That You?

When you set out, you pick your path through procedurally generated adventures—dungeons, campfires, shops, random events, and all sorts of surprises. Every choice matters. Dungeon modifiers can throw you a curveball with extra loot, more XP, new resources, or just plain danger. The dungeons themselves are crafted by hand for unforgettable moments, but monster spawns, secrets, and mutators are shuffled every run to keep things fresh.

Upgrade buildings to unlock new races, classes, items, spells, skills, and more crafting options. The item system is deep and feels straight out of a Diablo-style ARPG, with affixes, tiers, rerolling, and the constant hunt for that perfect piece of gear.

There’s a lot to explore—35 classes, 15 races, 30 monsters, 35 skills (each with four mastery levels), over 200 spells, more than 200 items, 100+ item affixes, and about 30 mutators, boons, and perks. It all stacks up to give you nearly endless ways to build your party and tackle new adventures.

We’re building all this with almost no budget, just a lot of heart. Most of our art comes from purchased and free assets—Synty stuff helps keep the look consistent. We’d love to make everything from scratch, but that’s just not possible right now.

Still, we customize a bunch of models (especially the monsters) and add our own where we can. Character portraits and icons come from AI image generation. Even with these limits, we’re pouring everything we have into the game we want to play, and we can’t wait to share it with fellow fans of the genre.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

1. Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
2. Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
3. Once The Titans of the Past is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Titans of the Past ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
4. Open the Titans of the Past folder and run the exe application.
5. Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
