After years of nothing, your grandmother Martha finally calls. She’s old now, barely there—just a flicker of the woman you remember. Still, you go. Her house sits alone, falling to pieces, smelling like rain and old secrets.

You expect a regular visit, maybe a little awkward, but the second you step inside, you know something’s off. Time feels heavy. The air’s thick, buzzing with memories nobody dares to mention.

Martha drifts in and out—sometimes she looks right through you, like she’s already halfway gone. But the house? The house knows you’re there.

Pretty soon, you start poking around, because you have to. The secrets in this place run deeper than the old cellar. Shadows slip past you, just out of sight. You find scraps of Martha’s handwriting—half diary, half desperate confession.
