This time, they’ve blended those striking HD-2D visuals everyone loves with real-time action, carving out a brand-new journey through a fantasy world that feels rich and alive.
You play as Elliot, a bold adventurer, and his fairy partner Faie—two unlikely heroes on a thousand-year quest that winds through different eras. There’s a lot at stake. They’re chasing secrets locked away in forgotten histories, taking on formidable foes, and piecing together a mystery that stretches across the ages.
Combat doesn’t slow things down for a second. You get to pick and equip two weapons at a time from seven distinct types—each one shifts your style in battle and opens up new tactical choices. The adventure jumps between four unique ages. It all starts in Elliot’s home era, the Age of Safekeeping, but soon spills into the tough Age of Reconstruction, the thriving Age of Magic, and even the dawn of civilization itself, known as the Age of Budding.
Each period stands apart—fresh challenges, unforgettable places, and always something lurking in the shadows as this threat follows them from one age to the next. The heart of their mission? Breaking the curse on Princess Heuria of Huther. To do that, they have to travel through the mysterious Doorway of Time.
Progression goes deeper thanks to the Magicite system. As you travel, you’ll collect magical enhancements and fuse them into your weapons—think custom builds, wild new effects, and strategies that feel personal. The game encourages you to tinker, try new combos, and push your own limits in combat and exploration.
