GAME OVERVIEW

This isn’t some hero’s journey. It’s history in motion, messy and unpredictable.

The End of History drops you into a medieval-style sandbox strategy RPG where you’re not the chosen one. The world doesn’t revolve around you — in fact, it barely notices you at all. NPCs have their own dreams, rivalries, and grudges. They plot, form alliances, stab each other in the back, rise, fall, and sometimes just vanish — all with or without you. Every time you play, those ripple effects spin out into a different story.

You start out as a nameless wanderer, leaving the only place you’ve ever called home. The world’s already in chaos. Power changes hands, hatred festers, and nobody really knows if things are going to hold together. You’re just one person in this mess. Still, your choices aren’t meaningless.

Your real mission? Keep the world from falling apart. Every decision, every deal, every battle you pick or avoid, nudges the world toward survival or disaster. Everything’s connected. And consequences have a way of circling back — sometimes when you least expect them. City Transport Simulator

You get to live how you want. Maybe you become a bandit, or try your luck as a merchant, a knight, a king. NPCs keep doing their own thing, and you’re just another face in the crowd. Sometimes someone orders you to cross a line, or you get caught in a tight spot — but whether you play along, stand up to them, or just walk away is always up to you. All those choices, over time, shape you and everything around you.

There’s something bigger going on too. Scattered across the land are pieces of a deeper mystery. At the heart of it all stands the Obelisk — this massive, ancient structure that’s rumored to hold infinite knowledge. What is it, really? And why does the world seem to unravel around it? Nobody hands you the answers. You’ll have to dig for them yourself.

There’s no set story or pre-written path. History just happens, pulled together from every small decision, random conversation, and the fallout from battles. Maybe you never even see some of it, but your actions still leave a mark — changing how characters think, how factions act, how the world shifts.

NPCs keep living their lives, even when you’re not around. They fight, fall in love, build something that outlasts them, or just fade away. You might not witness it, but you still leave fingerprints behind.

In the end, you get a history that’s yours alone. No one else will ever play through the same story.

If you love deep role-playing, care more about immersion than being in control, and don’t mind failing or facing unfair twists now and then, you’ll feel right at home here. If you want a world that breathes, where NPCs matter and history actually feels alive, this is your kind of game.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The The End of History is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The End of History ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The End of History folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
