GAME OVERVIEW
City Transport Simulator hands you the keys to the whole operation—you’re the driver, but you’re also calling the shots behind the scenes. You get to experience what it’s really like to run a public transport network in a lively, detailed European city that actually feels alive.
Every bus and tram feels spot-on, with physics that make sense and engines that sound just right. The cockpits aren’t just for show—you can flip every switch and push every button, whether you’re using a keyboard, controller, joystick, or steering wheel. And if you like your own setup, you can remap the controls however you want.
New to the whole thing? Step-by-step guidance walks you through every bus or tram, so it’s easy to get started, but there’s still plenty of depth once you get the hang of it. Driving an old tram or a modern bendy bus, everything feels hands-on and authentic. Surviving Skeleton Island

Your shift starts just like it would for a real driver. You roll out of the depot, do a proper cold start, and get ready to hit the streets.
But you’re not just behind the wheel—you’re running the whole network. The in-game tools let you lay down custom routes, set up timetables, manage how many vehicles are on each line, and decide which bus or tram goes where. AI drivers pick up the slack and follow your plans in real time, turning your ideas into a working, bustling transport system.
You can dive into a career, starting small and earning XP as you unlock new upgrades, buy more vehicles, and slowly grow your network while keeping passengers happy and on schedule. Or, if you just want to relax, sandbox mode lets you drive anything, build any route, and explore the city at your own pace—no pressure, no restrictions.
The customization goes deep. Name your company, stations, routes, and lines. Pick your favorite liveries, logos, and station styles. Your brand pops up everywhere, from the vehicles to the buildings—even the automated station announcements, which you can set to different languages. After a while, the city really starts to feel like your own.
There’s a ton to see: more than 50 kilometers of roads and rails, loads of unique stations, day and night cycles, changing passenger numbers, and smart AI traffic with real German vehicles and brands. Whether you’re chasing total realism or just want to kick back and drive, City Transport Simulator puts you in control and keeps things fresh with future updates, new vehicles, and new cities coming soon.
