Build floating homes, workshops, and bright, lively gardens from whatever the ocean throws your way. Scoop up plastic, driftwood, and old scraps—anything you can find—and turn it all into something useful that keeps you high and dry above the waves.

To keep your town going, you need fresh water, good food, and strong shelters. Desalinate seawater, cook up meals, and patch up your buildings so everyone stays safe, no matter how rough it gets out there. Every job matters. It’s all about making sure your drifters are ready for whatever comes next.

Brighten up your floating town with plants, rebuilt furniture, and a few oddball statues. These little touches lift everyone’s spirits. When your community’s happy, you can feel it—and you can see it, too. ROUTINE

Set out and explore. The world’s flooded, but there’s plenty left to find: half-sunken ruins, lost islands, and more. You never really know what treasures or weird places are still bobbing out there, just waiting for someone to stumble across them.

Dig through old ruins, rescue folks who’ve been stranded, and welcome friendly animals to your crew. Hunt down lost tech to upgrade your town, but don’t let your guard down—the polluted places out there can make your drifters seriously sick.

Every drifter has their own story, their own set of skills, and a few odd quirks. Bring in specialists—maybe a Birdkeeper, a Chemist, or an Electrician—and you’ll open up new buildings, quests, and upgrades.

Grow your floating settlement by coming up with cleaner, smarter ways to do things. Research green energy, make better food, heal pollution sickness, and build a self-sustaining ecosystem. It’s a cozy little adventure at the end of the world, and it’s yours to shape.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Flotsam is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Flotsam ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Flotsam folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
