GAME OVERVIEW
Jump into A Bumpy Ride, a laid-back arcade train adventure where you’re in charge of your own little railroad. You do it all—drive the train, hire your crew, and keep your passengers happy.
People hop on and ask for rides to all sorts of spots, sometimes places you haven’t even found yet. It keeps you exploring and slowly filling in the map as you roll along.
The game leans hard into nostalgia with its classic pixel art and a 19th-century feel. As you travel, you’ll pass through all kinds of American-inspired scenery, and the whole thing is set to a relaxing atmosphere complete with sunrise, sunset, and everything in between. Personalizing your train’s a big part of the fun. You can paint your engine, fly whatever flags you want, unlock new cars like first-class or old freight gondolas, and keep upgrading as you go.
There’s more to manage, too—you can bring on new staff to help you juggle everything behind the scenes.
It’s not pure relaxation, though. You’ve got to stay sharp. The railroad keeps moving, and balancing all your responsibilities, plus keeping your train safe, throws in just enough of a challenge to keep things interesting—without ruining the cozy mood.
Plus, there’s a custom soundtrack by Cynnamin, and a nice sense of progress as you play. A Bumpy Ride is all about exploring at your own pace, managing your little world, and just enjoying the ride.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD
- Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
- Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
- Once The A Bumpy Ride is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to A Bumpy Ride ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
- Open the A Bumpy Ride folder and run the exe application.
- Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
