GAME OVERVIEW

Picture this: you’re an alien, stranded on Earth, and your top-secret mission is to run a gas station. Not just any gas station, either—you’ve got to blend in, act normal, and quietly study the strange habits of humans.

You can go it alone or team up with friends (up to four total), but either way, most of your time goes into doing painfully ordinary things. Stock the right snacks.

Pump gas. Whip up some greasy food for tired travelers. Every happy customer means you’re fooling them, at least for now. REANIMAL

Here’s where it gets tricky. You’re juggling the daily grind of retail with sneaky alien research. Sure, you’re taking cash for chips and soda, but behind the counter, you’re also scanning, swiping, and experimenting on anyone who walks through the door.

The catch? There’s a suspicion meter always watching. If you get sloppy, start acting weird, or your disguise slips, the government shows up and it’s game over.

When night falls and the shop shutters, you head to the back to plot your next move and figure out how to spend all that hard-earned human money.

Progress feels like a tug-of-war. You can spruce up the station—new signs, cleaner bathrooms, whatever brings in more “test subjects.” Or you can pour your resources into alien gadgets that help you collect and process data even faster.

Worried someone’s catching on? Change up your disguise. Draw a new face—something extra “normal”—and hope it throws them off. The whole thing is frantic and a little absurd. One slip-up, and you’re not just out of business—you’re alien goo.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Roadside Research is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Roadside Research ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Roadside Research folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
