GAME OVERVIEW

Clear out the pirates, smash their bases, and free everyone they’ve captured. You start out in a wild, lawless corner of space, and little by little, you take it back—one asteroid at a time.

At first, you’re alone on a barren rock, setting up basic generators and refineries just to stay alive. You poke around, scrape together resources, and slowly start to build something out of nothing. Eventually, your operation grows. You unlock new ships and weapons, rescue folks trapped by pirates, and turn your lonely base into a fortress.

Every time you play, the system changes. Asteroids, resources, enemy outposts—they all shift around. So you have to stay sharp and switch up your strategy on the fly. Emerald Valley

Building up your base isn’t just about survival. You drop habitats, ports, power stations, refineries, and defenses. As you upgrade, you get access to better production lines, tougher ships, and heavier defenses to keep pirates off your back.

Mining is your lifeline. Sometimes you do it by hand, sometimes you send out mining ships, and if things go well, you’ll set up fully automated mining systems. As you expand, you can connect whole mining colonies, ports, and transport routes, moving resources across the system like clockwork.

There’s more out there, too. Venture deeper and you’ll stumble on wrecks, catch pirate convoys, blow up enemy bases, and rescue survivors stranded in the far reaches. The deeper you go, the bigger the risks—and the better the rewards.

Don’t get complacent with your defenses. Where you build matters, from how you spread your power to the angles of your guns. Pirate attacks don’t let up—they get stronger and smarter. One weak spot, and your whole operation can fall apart.

Space combat keeps things tense. You get to fly everything from swift fighters to heavy frigates. Battles are fast, messy, and unpredictable—lasers, rockets, last-second maneuvers—every fight decides who controls the stars.

The whole experience is about freedom, building, exploring, and battling your way back to control. It’s a light but gripping take on space survival, where every decision shapes your story as you reclaim a system pirates once owned.

Open the Wreckborn folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
