GAME OVERVIEW

Stranded alone on a mysterious island, you’ll need to explore, adapt, and navigate both the land and treacherous seas to survive.

You play as Kara, a warrior who’s been separated from her tribe after a wild storm at sea. Cast ashore on the Forbidden Islands, a strange yet beautiful paradise, you’re left with nothing but your survival instincts.

With no boat, food, or tools, it’s up to you to uncover the island’s hidden resources craft tools and weapons to hunt and defend yourself against the island’s wild and fantastical creatures. Wasteland 3

As you explore more islands and the ruins scattered across them, you’ll uncover secrets about the past and clues about the future solve these mysteries, and you might find more than just a way back home set out on a personal quest to learn the history of the Forbidden Islands, each holding its own mysteries and surprises.

Head out toward the horizon, exploring diverse wildlife, landscapes, and challenges on each island scavenge the untamed terrain for resources to craft tools, weapons, and upgrade your boat. When resources run low, you’ll need to set sail.

Your boat is your essential companion. Build and customize your own sailing vessel to handle fierce winds, monstrous waves, and deadly sea creatures as you journey from island to island.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Windbound is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Windbound ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Windbound folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
