GAME OVERVIEW

WARM MONKEY drops you into an urban jungle as a solo monkey, wandering through the heart of a lush city. It’s part animal fable, part wild journey—urban exploring, chasing water, and learning the value of sticking together. Every ten seconds, a new monkey joins your adventure. Soon, you’re leading a growing gang, all heading south, hoping to reach the ocean.

Staying alive isn’t easy. You’ve got to keep an eye out—monkeys get thirsty, fall from trees or rooftops, or get hit by scooters zipping through traffic. If your lead monkey dies, the next closest steps up. If everyone’s gone before you make it to the sea, that’s it. Game over.

Water keeps everyone moving. Your health bar is really just a measure of how dehydrated you are. When a monkey turns red, you’re running out of time—find water, fast. Tiny puddles pop up here and there, but bigger pools are rare. Hidden Cats in Spooky Village

The bigger your troop, the faster you burn through water. A puddle can save one monkey, but ten? You’ll need to hunt down those bigger pools, and they’re never easy to find.

This city is a maze, open for you to roam. It’s risky, though. You can climb buildings, leap across rooftops, swing through trees, or just poke around for puddles on the ground. There’s no set path—just your gut and sense of direction. But every risky move comes with danger. A bad jump or a careless crossing can wipe out your followers. Sometimes, they’ll copy your mistakes.

Your troop isn’t perfect, and that’s the point. The AI gives them personality—they’ll crowd around a puddle, wander too close to traffic, or try to follow your climbs with mixed results. Keeping everyone safe takes patience, and you’ve got to think ahead.

Bring in other players, and the game changes. Multiplayer is all about teamwork. Friends can join anytime, and suddenly, keeping everyone together matters even more. Wander off, and the camera leaves you behind. Communication makes everything smoother—exploring, pulling off rescues, just surviving. Sure, you might move faster alone, but a solid team sticks around longer and does more.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Warm Monkey is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Warm Monkey ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Warm Monkey folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
