GAME OVERVIEW

“USC: Counterforce” is a retro-inspired, turn-based squad tactics game set in a tense sci-fi world. You control a team of commandos sent to planetary body M-8322 to investigate and neutralize an unknown alien threat. Strategic Command WWII

Lead as your personalized commander in a story-driven, procedurally generated, multi-ending campaign mode. This mode includes:

Detailed base management on the planet’s surface.

Handling requests from various factions to maintain your reputation.

Defending fleet relay stations, your only connection to Earth.

Dive into an in-depth squad management system with complex character attributes and skills. Equip your squad with melee and ranged weapons, hacking tools, mines, turrets, armor, and weapon upgrades.

Explore and fight in fully destructible environments. Rearrange the battlefield, build barricades, lay traps, trigger chain reactions, seal airlocks, or break through walls. But be careful—your enemies can do the same.

Engage in multi-mission operations with unique goals, build and defend your outpost in Defend the Base mode, and more!

Don’t want to face the horde alone? Jump into multiplayer and tackle the threat with a friend in local co-op or use Steam’s “Remote Play Together” feature to bring an online buddy into the action.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The USC: Counterforce is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The USC: Counterforce ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The USC: Counterforce folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
