GAME OVERVIEW

The Tale of Relm is basically one of those old-school JRPGs, but way more polished and story-heavy. It’s got that classic turn-based combat, but it also makes you think.

Like, you can’t just button mash your way through it — you’ve actually gotta be smart about your moves. The world’s super detailed too, and every area feels handcrafted. As you explore, you’ll run into puzzles that honestly give off strong old Zelda vibes, and there are secrets hidden everywhere.

There are 10 playable characters, and each one actually matters. They’ve all got their own stories, personalities, and special skills, so it’s not like they’re just random filler. Color Breakers 2

The character art is all hand-drawn too, which makes the cutscenes and dialogue hit harder. You start getting attached to these people real quick, especially once you dig into their backstories.

Combat is turn-based, but it’s not the kind where you just spam attacks. You’ve gotta figure out enemy weaknesses, break their shields, and then go in for the kill.

And yeah — there are over 200 different enemies, and they all have different strategies, so fights stay interesting. The cool part is there are no random encounters.

You can actually see the enemies on the map and choose whether to fight or dip, which is a huge W in my opinion.

Exploration is a big deal too. You’re not just running through empty maps — there are towns to visit, villagers to talk to, and shops to gear up your squad.

Sometimes a random NPC will give you a clue or a tip that actually helps with the story or a hidden puzzle, so it’s worth taking your time. Everything feels like it’s there for a reason.

Once The The Tale of Relm is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Tale of Relm ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Tale of Relm folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
