GAME OVERVIEW
Yo, so the game’s called The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II. It’s the second part of the Calvard arc, following the first game. In this one, you’re back in Calvard, and things are chill until a series of murders shakes things up. You’re playing as Van Arkride, a spriggan (basically a problem-solver for hire), and you’re trying to figure out who’s behind these killings and what they want.
The game has this cool battle system that mixes real-time action with turn-based combat they’ve added new mechanics like Cross Charge and EX Chains to make fights more intense plus, you can choose which chapters to play in any order, so you can experience the story from different perspectives. The characters are well-written, and the story keeps you hooked the graphics are solid, sticking to that anime style fans love. The voice acting is a bit hit or miss, but it doesn’t take away from the experience.
If you’re into RPGs with a deep story and engaging gameplay, this one’s worth checking out it’s available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
