GAME OVERVIEW

The End of the Sun is a first person adventure game that mixes mystery and storytelling set in a world based on Slavic folklore myths and creatures you find yourself in a small village where weird stuff starts happening, and the line between myth and reality starts to blur.

You play as the Ashter, a Slavic sage with the power to travel through time and tap into knowledge from other worlds. You’re on the trail of a strange fugitive, but when you arrive at the village, it’s empty—well, except for the burned-out hearths and a whole lot of mystery.

The game pulls from Slavic mythology with its story unfolding across major Slavic festivals throughout the year each one set in different times. The gameplay is all about exploring and solving weird riddles, but the main focus is definitely the story. Those Who Rule

Photogrammetry from Ethnographic Museums: To make the game look as realistic as possible, we scanned hundreds of objects and even entire buildings from ethnographic museums, so you can see them exactly as they are.

Time Travel: You’ll jump across four different seasons, each set years apart, uncovering the same heroes at different stages of their lives. Use your time-bending powers to piece together the puzzle.

Dynamic World: Watch as the time of day, weather, and lighting change naturally while you uncover the mystery.

It’s all about uncovering the secrets that are hiding right in front of you while exploring a world shaped by ancient traditions and magic.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

1. Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
2. Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
3. Once The The End of the Sun is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The End of the Sun ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
4. Open the The End of the Sun folder and run the exe application.
5. Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
