Sweet Hamster Days is a live-action romance sim with a twist: you play as a pet hamster. After a bizarre accident, Kota wakes up to find he’s now “Hamta,” the Shiratori sisters’ cherished hamster—and these sisters just happen to be his childhood friends.

Adjusting to life on four tiny paws isn’t easy, but as Hamta, he starts noticing something bigger: the sisters have drifted apart over time. The story centers on three sisters who couldn’t be more different. There’s Himari, the oldest, who seems reliable but relaxes only behind closed doors. Futaba, the middle sister, is all discipline and drive—she’s into health, studies hard at college, and loves ballet.

The youngest, Miyu, pours her heart into her music but deals with her own troubles. As Hamta, you get to see the sisters in their realest moments, pick up on the things they’re not saying, and make choices that shift the story in subtle or surprising ways. There’s more than one path through the game, so each playthrough brings out different sides of the sisters.
