Taival is a cozy open-world action RPG where you and a mysterious shapeshifting companion set out on a heartfelt adventure to restore balance to the world. After discovering the last surviving Henki—a magical creature capable of taking many forms—you embark on a journey to recover the shattered pieces of the legendary Heartstone. As you explore the land together, you’ll uncover ancient secrets, help the people of Taival, and gradually learn what caused the world’s greatest tragedy.

Henki is the centerpiece of the adventure, offering a unique shapeshifting system that changes both exploration and combat. By encountering creatures throughout the world, your companion can absorb their essence and transform into new forms. Celestial Return

Some become powerful guardians that absorb damage, while others serve as fast mounts, agile climbers, or stealthy hunters. Unlocking and mastering these forms allows you to customize your playstyle and discover new ways to overcome obstacles.

The world of Taival is entirely handcrafted, featuring beautifully designed voxel-style landscapes connected through forests, mountains, ruins, villages, and other unique regions. Exploration is rewarded with side quests, hidden secrets, and memorable characters. Some quests focus on lighthearted mysteries, such as helping villagers solve everyday problems, while others lead to dangerous battles against powerful beasts and hostile enemies.

Designed for both solo players and groups, Taival supports cooperative play for up to four people. Friends can join through online multiplayer, local split-screen, or even a combination of both in the same session. Cooperative features go beyond combat, allowing everyone to participate in conversations, vote on dialogue choices, and experience story decisions together, making the adventure feel truly collaborative.

Once The Taival is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Taival ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Taival folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
