GAME OVERVIEW
Four test subjects walk into a medical trial, but only one walks out. That’s the setup for Side Effects, a tense, turn-based game where every round is a gamble. You’re staring down a handful of pills—some heal, some hurt, and a few will kill you on the spot.
You don’t know what you’re about to swallow or how it’ll mess with your head or your body. The only way to win? Outlast the person across from you. Just hang on one dose longer than they can. Abra-Cooking-Dabra
Every pill chips away at your resistance. When it hits zero, you’re out—no do-overs. Between rounds, you get your hands on experimental tools and weird treatments: stuff like vaccines, mouth clamps, and whatever else the lab can cook up. None of it guarantees survival, but sometimes a little edge is all you need.
You’re not alone in this fight. Your opponent’s got their own tricks—bluffing, adapting, trying to keep themselves alive at your expense. The trial’s as much about reading people as it is about surviving the next dose. Would you sign up for this?
Side Effects throws you into both single-player and multiplayer battles, with up to four players testing their nerve. There are more than fifteen wild items to try out, and six different pills with their own effects. Ready to see how lucky you really are?
HOW TO DOWNLOAD

- Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
- Once The SIDE EFFECTS is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to SIDE EFFECTS ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
- Open the SIDE EFFECTS folder and run the exe application.
- Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
