GAME OVERVIEW

Alright, here’s the deal: each tower in Runeroots TD has two rune traits, and if you match towers with the same traits, you get some sick bonuses. With 8 different rune traits to play with, you’ve got tons of ways to mix and match. Abathor

In this game, every run is different. The paths, resources, perks, and enemies are all randomized. So, you gotta learn your enemies’ weaknesses and set up your defenses accordingly. If things get hairy, use your rune powers to bail yourself out!

You’ve got a bunch of upgrades to choose from each run. Perks tweak specific tower types, items boost individual towers, and Relics are global mods that change up the game big time. Do you go all in on making one mega-tower or spread the perks across a bunch of towers?

Adventure Mode lets you pick your path across 3 acts. After every 5 waves, you choose where to go next—hit up a rune monument for more powers, grab a treasure chest, or visit the blacksmith to craft tower upgrades.

Mastery Mode is where you grind through a massive tech tree, leveling up your town’s technology to handle tougher waves.

As you play, your town levels up and unlocks new features for your next run.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Runeroots TD is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Runeroots TD ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Runeroots TD folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
