GAME OVERVIEW

In Rise of Piracy, you start out with barely anything—a small ship, a handful of coins, and a big world waiting for you. The map isn’t some endless, random stretch of sea either. Everything in this world is built by hand, every building can be blown to bits, and that opens up a ton of ways to play.

Want to level an island’s defenses from a safe distance before charging in? Go for it. Or maybe you’d rather sneak in quietly and take over bit by bit. You get to decide how bold or careful you want to be.

As you build up your reputation, you’ll find more to explore. Sometimes that means sailing toward the unknown. Other times, it’s about picking up rumors from mayors in dusty ports or chatting with fleet captains over a drink. There’s always something hidden just over the horizon if you’re willing to look for it. Modo Modo

What’s great is that you don’t have to be a pirate if you don’t want to. If honest trade is more your style, you can dive into a massive economy with over 200 goods to buy and sell.

Set up merchant routes, focus on building a fleet of transports, and work the politics with different factions to get those trading perks. But if you’re itching for action, you can chase bounties, wage war against colonial navies, or go treasure hunting in places other captains avoid.

Your story really comes down to the ships you sail and the crew you gather. There’s a huge lineup of vessels—from fast little 1600s sloops to those intimidating 120-gun giants from the 1900s. Need extra muscle? Head to the tavern and hire specialists who’ll help you board enemy ships or storm islands. Sometimes, they’ll even help you rake in extra cash on the side.

But every choice matters. NPC factions watch what you do, and if you step on the wrong toes, you might find pirate hunters hot on your trail. Power shifts all the time as different groups go to war, and the world gets tougher as you get stronger. No matter how big your fleet grows, there’s always a new challenge waiting.

Once The Rise of Piracy is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Rise of Piracy ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Rise of Piracy folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
