GAME OVERVIEW

Rift Wizard 2 is a hardcore, old-school roguelike wizard simulator that doesn’t mess around. You play as an immortal wizard with no memory, traveling through the cosmos to take down your arch-nemesis.

You’ll get super powerful by the end, but enemies will try to wreck the crazy combo you’ve built. It’s not just about having the endgame in mind, but figuring out how to survive all the twists and turns along the way without ruining your spellbook. FlyKnight

You choose your levels, where to start, and how to spend your resources. No sneaking around or cheesing mechanics here – you’ve got to face everything head-on and use whatever tools you’ve got. The game keeps combat simple, no random number stuff or overly complicated formulas, just pure strategy. Every win feels earned, every death feels deserved.

New in Rift Wizard 2 is the equipment system. Randomized equipment can really flip your build, opening up new playstyles. Maybe you find a helmet that turns your ice damage into poison damage, or a staff that lets your fire damage trigger extra Mercurize casts. Or, you could get a bunch of radius upgrades that make your fireballs way bigger.

You’ve fought regular ogres, but how about Fae Ogres, Lich Ogres, Burning Ogres, Wereogres, or Immortal Bone Wizards?

Along with the new equipment system, the core mechanics are reworked. HP and spell charges refill after every level, but potions are much rarer now. Damage redeals no longer work through immunity, so you’ve got to mix up your spells more. SP is harder to get early on, and spell upgrades are stronger but limited to one per spell.

Once The Rift Wizard 2 is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Rift Wizard 2 ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Rift Wizard 2 folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
