In Fortune Reversal, you step into the shoes of Qi Nian—a brand-new college grad who’s just barely scraping by. He’s stuck, broke, and feeling pretty alone as the so-called “real world” closes in.

But then, out of nowhere, things get weird: he gets tied to a strange life manual, and suddenly his life looks like something out of a game.

Choices pop up in the air. Relationship meters hang over people’s heads. He discovers this “Fortune Reversal” ability, and now he can look back at his past and actually change the stuff that always felt impossible. CASSETTE BOY

This isn’t some tiny story, either. The game’s huge—over 70GB of content, plus more than 400 minutes of gameplay. You’ll spend most of that time untangling Qi Nian’s relationships with a whole lineup of women.

There’s Zhao Tingting, his old roommate who knows him better than anyone; Jia Yun Wu, a superstar who seems out of his league; and Yuxin Yu, mysterious and hard to pin down. But this isn’t your run-of-the-mill dating sim.

Every interaction runs on two meters: Affection and Desire. It’s not just about saying the right things—it’s about tension, strategy, and actual feelings. The story branches out in a big way: 179 choices, each one changing the direction of Qi Nian’s life. You have to pick between steady work and chasing your dreams, or decide if you’ll risk a relationship or play it safe.

And it’s not all reading and clicking. The game drops the usual visual novel style and lets you get your hands dirty with first-person combat. You actually fight to defend the people you care about.

With a bunch of different endings and a story that feels way too real for comfort, Fortune Reversal is all about ambition, growing up, and living with your choices. There’s no magic answer here. You’re not just playing a game—you’re wrestling with the same stuff we all do when life refuses to go according to plan.
