Step into a world that’s falling apart and beautiful all at once. You wake up as MIO, a spry little robot with some pretty wild skills, stranded on the Vessel—a giant spaceship just drifting through the endless dark. This place used to be a shining beacon of technology, but now? It’s a wreck, crawling with overgrown plants and machines that have gone off the rails.

The Vessel had caretakers—AIs called Pearls—but they’ve gone silent. With nobody left to keep things running, the whole ship’s about to shut down for good. No one remembers it anymore. Its fate is in your hands. So, you dig into its shadowy hallways, trying to piece together lost memories and figure out where you came from—and maybe where you’re supposed to go.

The adventure plays out like a gorgeous metroidvania. You’ll guide MIO through endless, tangled corridors, fixing broken-down robots, hearing their stories, and picking up upgrades. Every corner hides pieces of the past. If you’re curious and pay attention, you’ll start to unravel the mystery behind the blackout that wrecked everything. CARNEDGE

This world isn’t just big—it’s stunning. Every room pops with detail, inspired by comics, paintings, and anime. It feels alive, almost like you’re exploring a living work of art. A moody soundtrack—think lo-fi beats mixed with eerie choir music—pulls you in even deeper.

The Vessel’s basically a massive, living maze, with its own strange wildlife, wild architecture, and plenty of danger. You’ll pick up new moves as you go: grappling hooks, air gliding, clinging to walls. The trick is to get the rhythm right—move with precision and confidence, and the whole place opens up.

You’re not alone, though. There are more than 30 enemy types waiting for you, plus 15 massive guardian bosses, and none of them fight the same way. Some are quick and relentless. Others are just plain monstrous. You’ll have to switch up your tactics—use your Hook to dodge attacks, blast out orbs, or drop decoy clones to mess with your enemies.

Personalizing MIO’s fighting style is a big deal. Grab parts from defeated foes to boost your abilities and tweak how you fight. Turn your Hook into a weapon, trade defense for pure firepower, or mix and match upgrades until you find a setup that feels just right.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

1. Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
2. Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
3. Once The MIO Memories in Orbit is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to MIO Memories in Orbit ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
4. Open the MIO Memories in Orbit folder and run the exe application.
5. Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
