You can play as a pilot, co-pilot, or air traffic controller racing mode is a blast, letting you compete against friends in different races, including Red Bull Air Race courses, the Reno National Championship, and more. With three difficulty levels, there’s a challenge for everyone, from simple pylon races to complex courses with tricky weather.

Fly your dream aircraft, from floatplanes and ultralights to planes with wheels and skis you can also boost your game with FSX Add-ons for even more realism.

FSX Steam Edition is pretty much the same as the boxed version, but if you’ve got a bunch of add-ons for the original, they might not work with this version. Also, the SDK isn’t included with the Steam Edition.

If you’re worried about running FSX alongside your existing setup, you might want to install it on a separate PC. Your add-ons will only work with your original FSX installation and won’t transfer over to the Steam Edition.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

1. Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
2. Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
3. Once The Microsoft Flight Simulator X is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Microsoft Flight Simulator X ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
4. Open the The Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder and run the exe application.
5. Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
