GAME OVERVIEW

Keep the Heroes Out! flips the script on typical dungeon games. Instead of playing as heroes, you’re the monsters, and your job is to guard your treasure from wave after wave of meddling adventurers.

Your monsters aren’t invincible—they can die in battle, and yeah, that stings a bit. The upside? You can always bring them back. Treasure’s another story. Once a hero grabs it, it’s gone for good. That’s what really keeps you on your toes.

Everyone picks a monster, and each one’s got its own special abilities, creature types, and a starting deck that feels pretty different from the others. You can play side by side at the table or jump online and team up; it’s flexible, so you can play how you like. Dissimilar

When your turn rolls around, you play your cards one by one to do stuff—move, attack, whatever your monster’s good at.

You don’t have to follow the order on the card, and you can split actions between monsters if you’re clever about it. After you’re done, draw back up to five cards and get ready for what’s next.

As you go, you’ll find loot and upgrade your deck. Every monster’s got a different job—some handle crowds, others defend or support—so putting together a team that works well together is half the fun.

After you finish your turn, the heroes storm in and make their move. If they manage to swipe your treasure, that’s game over. But if you hold them off long enough, everyone wins.

Each level shakes things up with new dungeon layouts, special rules, and wild twists. Maybe you’ll help Olga the witch collect frogs in a chill early mission, or dive into chaos with a battle of the bands. Either way, things never get stale.

Open the Keep the Heroes Out folder and run the exe application.
