You’re creating entire prehistoric habitats, tinkering with genetics, and nurturing dinosaurs from tiny hatchlings to massive adults with their own quirks and behaviors. It’s a game of balance: you want life to flourish, but let’s be honest, it never all goes according to plan.

Some push the boundaries, too: semi-aquatic dinos dive deep, while pterosaurs stroll around on land, adding a whole new mix to the usual park drama. Watching them do their thing really makes the place feel alive, more like a real ecosystem than a fenced-in zoo.
When it comes to building, you have loads more freedom. The tools let you sculpt the land, tweak habitats, and throw in your own style with decorative pieces. If you want to go wild, the Island Generator creates brand-new maps, so every park can be totally different. Old favorites like Balloon Tours and the Cretaceous Cruise are back, mixing with new attractions that help make your park feel like an actual Jurassic getaway.
Familiar faces return—yes, Dr. Ian Malcolm is here—with a storyline that pulls you across different parts of the world, from Montana to Japan. Every choice matters, whether you’re pleasing business partners, scientists, or keeping the place safe. Everyone has their own agenda, so you can’t play it safe.
And of course, there’s always chaos lurking. One minute things are smooth, the next you’ve got escaped dinosaurs, storms knocking out power, or security on the fritz. You’ve got new tools and teams to handle it, but you’ll never feel completely in control—that’s half the fun.
