Indies’ Lies 2: Fire Seed throws you right into the thick of battle—a top-down 2D tactical roguelite where you lead three heroes and carve out your own legend on a battlefield that never stays the same. The game mixes hardcore strategy with deep roguelite progression, so you’re always juggling big-picture planning, wild power surges, and those sweet moments when you completely wipe out your enemies.

This one picks up where the original Indies’ Lies left off, taking the story further. The evil god Indies still casts a long shadow, and now the Lady of Death has started waking up warriors from across the ages. Your job? Guide your squad through procedurally generated fights and challenge the gods themselves on the chaotic continent of Meka.

You build your team from three heroes, and they all play differently. Each one comes with unique Kindling powers, gear, relics, and specific roles on the field. Winter Burrow

There are hundreds of equipment and Kindling combos to unlock, letting you create all sorts of devastating synergies. Want to focus on single-target nukes or go all-in with area attacks? It’s up to you. Your strategy shapes your journey.

Fights play out like a vicious game of chess. You can use the terrain to split up enemy squads or bait bosses into hurting their own side. Skills chain together in all kinds of clever ways—Qili can reset her position for sneaky attacks, Diego lays traps and strikes from the shadows, Daniel blows up the field with deadly status effects. Every turn, you’re making big calls: do you drop the healers first, or try to disrupt that elite before things get ugly?

The build system is wide open. You get 112 tactical components to play with, including hero-only relics, game-changing equipment, and risky Burning Kindling effects. Maybe you’ll put together a Blink Crit build, turn someone into an unbreakable Counter Tank, or poison everything in sight with Toxin Overload. In Fire Seed, your imagination really is your best weapon.
