GAME OVERVIEW

Picture a kingdom that’s been lost to time. Somewhere in its heart, a young dragon has let loose a creeping, ancient darkness. It swallows everything. Your goal? You’ll have to dive straight into the center of all this ruin—if you can survive what’s lurking in the shadows.

You’re not alone, though. Rally a band of loyal followers, hang onto your courage, and get stronger with every fight. If you want to stop this darkness from spreading, you have to keep moving forward, no matter what.

Every battle, every follower you pick, and every wild event changes the path ahead—right up to your final face-off with the Dragon.

Followers show up at random, each bringing something different to the table. Some might flip your whole strategy upside down. Pick carefully, arrange your crew for the best teamwork, and then watch them take on waves of monsters, old rivals, and sometimes even twisted versions of yourself.

You’ll wander through eerie dreamscapes, shattered battlefields, secret cult hideouts, and places you’d rather forget. Every stop peels back the story: who you were, who you loved, and what the Dragon really is.

Fights come fast and hit hard—auto-battler style. With over 150 followers and trinkets out there, every run lets you try new combos, builds, and wild surprises.

Craving something even tougher? Reliquary Mode ramps things up with a shifting, relentless gauntlet. Adapt, dig deep, and see just how far you can make it into the endless night.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Holder of Place is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Holder of Place ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Holder of Place folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
