GAME OVERVIEW

Ecosystem is basically a game about life and evolution. At its core, you create and control virtual creatures that grow from synthetic DNA and live in a realistic, simulated ocean the DNA is what shapes each creature, from their body structure to their brain and even their ability to fight.

The creatures’ nervous systems work like a computer, with data flowing through their “neurons” to control everything they do, from sensing their surroundings to moving their muscles they swim like real sea animals, using torque at their joints to push against the water and move forward. NO STRANGERS

To bring life into the world, you just toss a bunch of these creatures into the water with random traits and brains. Most of them will just flop around, but the ones that can move even a little bit will have a better chance of surviving and passing on their traits. After ten generations, you’ll have creatures that are really good at swimming and surviving.

It’s pretty awesome watching these creatures evolve right in front of you, especially when you see how your choices shape their development in the simulated ocean.

The game also has a deep combat system whether it’s using electric shocks to stun enemies or growing poisonous spikes to defend against predators, each creature has stats that affect how they survive in the food chain as species evolve and get stronger, they’ll need to adapt or risk being wiped out by predators.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Ecosystem is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Ecosystem ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Ecosystem folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
