This story drops you into post-war Japan during the Showa era, with a mystery that never lets up—mixing in suspense, heartbreak, and some psychological twists where fiction and reality start to blur in uncomfortable ways.

You step into the shoes of Takashiro Shugo, a retired cop heading to Zushi on the coast. Why? His old boss, Arishima Kazuma, asks him for a favor. Arishima’s neck-deep in the notorious Ueno Serial Murder Case and needs Shugo to look into a wealthy family’s missing daughter. At the Kozuki estate, Shugo meets Kozuki Kazuna—who looks exactly like his ex-lover and her missing twin, Yura.
