In “Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus,” you flow with acrobatic grace through a world of myth and legend inspired by Japanese folklore. As Bō, a celestial blossom (fox tentaihana) sent from the heavens to fulfill an ancient prophecy, you’ll use your bō staff to bounce and glide through hand-drawn, dreamlike landscapes filled with strange and adorable yokai and massive monsters from ancient legends. Explore a diverse, interconnected 2.5D side-scrolling world with Metroidvania elements. Now your Journey to a haunted castle, a thriving Japanese-inspired city, and many other wondrous places. Player can Find new paths and surprises as you unlock new abilities and navigate platforming challenges with acrobatic precision.

Brew arcane teas to unlock powerful new abilities for Bō’s shapeshifting staff. Mash foes with the Mochi Mallet, unlock new movement techniques like the Lotus Dash and Grappling Gun, and power up along your journey. Discover and upgrade colorful Daruma dolls to summon them in battle, where they can deploy spells and abilities to aid you.

In the world The game’s vibrant 2.5D art blends the beauty of paintings, hand-drawn illustrations, and papercraft. Engage with a larger-than-life cast of yokai and other characters inspired by Japanese myth, brought to life with traditional hand-drawn animation. Help them with side quests or just stop by for a chat and a cup of tea.

In the year of 2024 Challenge massive monsters from Japanese folklore, using all your knowledge and acrobatic skill to defeat them and advance in your quest. Drift along to a beautiful original score by Moisés Camargo, blending traditional Japanese instrumentation with modern orchestral music.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

3. Once The Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
4. Open the The Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus folder and run the exe application.
5. Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
