GAME OVERVIEW

Beneath is a survival FPS born straight from the twisted minds of two brothers who grew up hooked on horror and shooters. It throws you into a 10+ hour story-driven campaign where ammo’s scarce, enemies hit hard, and the dread never really lets up. There’s that old-school challenge, but it feels sharp and modern, not stuck in the past.

You step into the boots of Noah Quinn, a deep-sea diver whose simple dive goes sideways fast. One minute, he’s on a routine mission—next, he’s stranded miles under the Arctic, with something ancient lurking in the dark. Supplies start to run out. Monsters close in. The only way out is through, and what’s waiting in the shadows is… well, it’s worse than you can imagine.

Noah isn’t just fighting to stay alive. He’s got a daughter up top, and time’s running out to save her. Every decision matters—every bullet, every breath. As you push deeper, you start to unravel a conspiracy that threatens way more than just Noah’s life. Escape Simulator 2

The enemies? They’re all over the place. Armed soldiers, freakish sea monsters, things you wish you hadn’t seen. Ammo’s tight, so you’ll scavenge, upgrade your gear, and use every trick the environment offers to survive.

The further you descend, the weirder things get. Reality warps. You see things that shouldn’t be there—visions, monsters, your own mind turning against you. It’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s just in your head.

Beneath is a tribute to classic horror shooters, built with pure love for the genre. The two brothers poured their obsession into every corner, every scare, and every fight.

Every encounter is a scrap for survival. Human enemies track you with cold precision, while inhuman horrors lurk just out of sight. The action’s fast, messy, and it doesn’t cut you any slack.

You’ll grab and upgrade new weapons, fight your way through tight corridors and collapsing rooms, and test your aim and nerves with every pull of the trigger.

Sanity’s always slipping. The deeper you go, the more the ocean—and your own mind—turn on you. Lose your grip, and the darkness wins.

If you want answers, you’ll have to dig for them. Search those empty stations, sift through old emails and survivor logs, and follow every clue. The truth is waiting for you down there—buried beneath it all.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Beneath is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Beneath ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Beneath folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
