Your journey begins as a mysterious patient saved by the CDC and brought to the Urban town shelter in the deep South of the US. Rescued barely alive by the good folks there, you’ll need to rise up, become a leader, and rebuild their camp that’s been wrecked by raiders.

Urban Strife gives you a solid mix of weapons you’d expect in a Southern US city after the apocalypse: handguns, shotguns, hunting rifles, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. Each weapon has its pros and cons, so you’ll need to pick the right one for the situation.

Assault rifles deal brutal damage, especially when you go full auto, tearing through multiple bodies at once. And if you have the ammo, sniper and hunting rifles let you target specific body parts for instant kills or crippling shots. It’s all about precision.

If guns aren’t your thing, there’s a whole arsenal of stuff you can use for close combat. From rolling pins to frying pans, pretty much anything you can swing becomes a weapon—hell, even a customized baseball bat can turn the tide.

As you explore, you’ll meet NPCs all trying to survive the apocalypse. Some will help you if you help them first, but don’t expect anyone to be truly trustworthy. Everyone’s got their own agenda. In Urban, you’ll choose between three main factions: army rebels, a zombie-worshiping cult, and a ruthless biker gang. Pick your ally, but be ready—nothing comes easy, and there’s no real “good” choice. In the apocalypse, it’s all about survival—and living with the choices you make.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Urban Strife is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Urban Strife ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Urban Strife folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
