Suddenly, everything goes off the rails—Anemone, the mad scientist, shows up and turns Octo and the crew into stone. Not exactly what you want, right?

The gameplay? It’s dead simple and strangely addictive. You land, charge up your next jump, line up your angle, and launch yourself. Sounds harmless enough… until you miss and drop back to the bottom. Brutal.

And you will mess up—trust me. Platforms collapse, some are on fire, and one bad jump sends you packing. But each attempt gets you closer. The whole thing is about timing, patience, and keeping your cool.

If you want chaos, there’s a 2-player Battle Mode offline. You and a friend race for coins—and yes, you can slam into each other to steal them. Forget being nice. It’s a coin-grabbing free-for-all.

Honestly, it’s one of those games that gets stuck in your head. Easy controls, endless frustration, but man, it feels good when you finally get somewhere.
