Benjamin Leighton is a war vet and retired private detective. A few years ago, he lost his family in a brutal murder by an unknown killer. Now, Ben’s just drowning his pain in booze, struggling with insomnia and guilt. But when a new case comes up, a missing child, it’s the perfect chance for him to get back into the game and face his demons. Can Benjamin move past his tragic past? Will he find the kid? This game’s all about a deep, story-driven experience, with some cool mechanics to help you navigate Ben’s messed-up world one big challenge is managing Ben’s STRESS—how much he can take before it affects his performance. Brave Joe

You can ease his stress by doing different things around the city, but watch out—some shady places might try to rob you if your REPUTATION or ELOQUENCE isn’t up to par. You can also adopt a PET to help Ben deal with his situation and lower his stress. There’s a day/night cycle, so timing’s key when investigating clues.

The game’s got classic point-and-click gameplay for exploring and interacting with the world you’ll move through detailed, hand-drawn environments, looking for clues, questioning suspects, and solving puzzles. Click on hotspots to interact with stuff and gather clues or items for later use.
