GAME OVERVIEW

Mossroot is a party-based tactical RPG with a Roguelike twist. You’re climbing a heavily fortified mountain, fighting all sorts of enemies like bandits, knights, and cavemen. its Level up your squad, make tough choices, and even recruit enemies to join your fight against tyranny. now Bring them back to your Homebase, get to know them, and work together to build a safe haven. Take down the Evil King As you climb his treacherous mountain, you’ll explore dangerous biomes packed with monsters, bandits, and potential allies. MOre Score treasures in battle, like runes to power up your team and items like bombs and potions. Each run is different since the map is procedurally generated.

You’ll hit checkpoints along the way. Some are chill spots, but others will force you to make big decisions—like trading strength for something else.

Not everyone you face is an enemy. Recruit allies by figuring out what they need and helping them out.

Back at your Homebase, a village wrecked by war, you’ll rebuild and talk with your recruits. As your base grows, you’ll unlock merchants and services to make your runs easier or crank up the difficulty for bigger rewards.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Mossroot is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Mossroot ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Mossroot folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
