Liminal Universe is a solo first-person adventure game that drops you straight into the world of Liminal Space. The game isn’t about following a story – it’s all about soaking in the environment and vibe. It kicks off on a completely empty snowy map, and then moves on to a pool and ocean.

The game gives you some directions, but it never really tells you what you’re supposed to do. There are no monsters chasing you or complex puzzles to figure out. The goal is to explore and uncover the story of this forgotten place at your own pace Sure it can be tough to navigate through narrow hallways, dark corners and endless empty rooms but that’s what makes the atmosphere so powerful. Once The Liminal Universe is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Liminal Universe ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Liminal Universe folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
