GAME OVERVIEW

In the year of 2024 Dystobel is a metroidvania and platformer game where you switch between fire, ice, and electricity powers to dodge and nullify enemy attacks. More then that Explore the captive kingdom under the rule of Lord Solomon, discovering items to boost your attack, defense, and health. CBO TD

Hey, I’m Kenneth, and I’m developing Dystobel solo. Switching elements lets you counter enemy projectiles, but some enemies are immune to certain attacks.

Do you want to be a glass cannon dealing massive damage but taking a lot in return? Or a tank that barely gets hurt but deals less damage? Or maybe a balanced combo of both? Equipping items lets you tweak the game’s difficulty to fit your style.

All graphics, sprites, and animations are handcrafted by me. I am not a pro animator or cartoonist, but I’m working hard to deliver smooth and engaging animations. I hope you enjoy the results (or maybe even get a bit creeped out, heh).

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Click the Download button below and you’ll be redirected.
Wait for 5 seconds and then hit the blue ‘download now’ button. The download will start, so just hang tight.
Once The Dystobel is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to The Dystobel ” (You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the The Dystobel folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
