GAME OVERVIEW

Departed Free Download is an anomaly detection game where you’re trapped in a never-ending subway loop. To break free and win, you’ve gotta explore, find things that don’t belong, and figure out what’s different from the original setup. The only way to escape is by boarding the right train 9 times in a row. Can you trust your memory?

When you first step onto the platform, start exploring and commit everything to memory. Each time the platform resets, pay attention for any changes—big, small, visual, or sound-related. Every little detail counts. If you spot something off, head back to the train you came from. If nothing seems weird, hop onto the next train. Get it right, and you’re one step closer to escaping. But mess up, and you’re sent back to square one.

In Departed, you’re on a mission to find your best friend, who vanished without a trace. Before they disappeared, you both were obsessed with a creepy local subway legend. Chasing that lead, you end up stuck in this loop, and the only way out is to play the game by its rules.

Can you trust yourself? Will you navigate the endless platforms and uncover the truth behind your friend’s disappearance? Or will you get stuck in the subway forever?

Once The Departed is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Departed ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Departed folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
