Seven years after everything went down in Anemone Valley, tensions over magic in the Empire are at their peak. But inside the walls of Seven Winds Academy, nobody’s worried much about all that.

Most students are far more preoccupied with exams, landing a good job after graduation, and figuring out who’s asking whom to the New Year’s Gala. All that changes, though, when a curious group of seniors uncovers something hidden deep in the castle—and suddenly, their priorities do a complete 180.

You’ll jump right into this adventure as a mage student at Seven Winds Academy. This story welcomes both newcomers and anyone who loved the first game. Seth

You get to pick from three magical disciplines, and your choices shape your personality as you try to balance friendships, everyday school life, and whatever wild thing is brewing under the surface.

You shape the story in Arcadia Fallen II by deciding how to tackle the moments and people that cross your path. Tone labels make your choices clear, so you don’t walk into shock twists by accident, and the big decisions are hard to miss. Still, there’s no “wrong” way forward and no hidden fail states, just the path you carve out for yourself.

The discipline you pick changes up your background, the places you know best on campus, and the skills you bring to the group. You’ll notice different puzzles and new ways to rise to a challenge on each playthrough. And honestly, what’s a boarding school setting without breaking a rule or two? It’s tempting to sneak out at night with your friends, especially when you know there are secrets buried in that old castle.

Friendship and romance both get center stage here. There are five different romanceable friends, and the game is LGBTQ+ friendly—so you’re free to date whoever you want, no matter how you present. If you’re not in it for romance, you’re welcome to stick with deep, supportive friendships instead. You’ll help companions through their own struggles as the year rolls on. And with a talented cast of voice actors behind every friend, rival, and love interest, each character really comes alive.
