UNDERGROUNDED is an adventure game about Scott, a young guy from Manhattan whose life just kind of falls apart in one moment. He plans this big marriage proposal, gets rejected, and in the chaos, the ring slips out of his fingers—straight into a storm drain. You’d think that would be the end of it.

Not quite. The ring doesn’t just vanish; it tumbles down into the wildest part of New York nobody knows about—a hidden dungeon threaded through the city’s underground, where odd pieces of American history actually come to life. Wantama☆Life

Of course, not everything down there wants to help you. There are enemies and bosses, but Scott doesn’t fight them by swinging a sword or anything standard. Instead, he’s got this odd power that kicks in whenever he finds a retro arcade machine—those old 80s ones with beeps and blocky graphics.

Playing these games inside the game actually changes reality outside them: maybe an obstacle disappears, maybe a boss gets zapped in some weird way. Each arcade cabinet calls back to a retro classic, so every encounter is both a nostalgia trip and a puzzle to crack.
