GAME OVERVIEW

Clover’s Quadrants is a puzzle game that really makes you think differently. Every direction you move—up, down, left, right—is actually connected to an item in your inventory. So when you pick up a new item, it literally changes how you move, because now that direction triggers the new ability. Suddenly, every step feels important, and solving puzzles turns into a fun, creative challenge that keeps you planning ahead.

The game doesn’t stop there. New items, fresh mechanics, and all sorts of surprising twists keep showing up the further you go. Each puzzle nudges you to try new item combos, and finding the right solution feels genuinely rewarding, especially once you stumble onto a new strategy or finally crack a tricky level. It’s built for puzzle fans, no matter your skill level. If you’re new to these kinds of movement-based or Sokoban-style games, it’ll push you, but it never feels unfair. And if you’ve played a ton of these before, there are enough complex puzzles in here to keep you experimenting and thinking hard.

There’s a lot to play through, too—over 90 handcrafted puzzles, each with its own artwork and layout. To make things smoother, the game’s packed with features that help everyone enjoy it: accessibility options, handy movement helpers, clear visual hints for every puzzle, and even the option to skip levels whenever you want. Free Play mode lets you open up every puzzle right away, and the visuals are colorblind-friendly right from the start.

Clover’s Quadrants actually started as a smaller prototype, UDLR_Modify, made for Acerola Jam 0. This new version takes the best puzzles from that original and builds a much bigger world around them, with more levels, new items, smarter mechanics, and plenty of new challenges. It’s everything the prototype aimed for—just bigger, deeper, and way more satisfying.

Once The Clover’s Quadrants is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Clover’s Quadrants ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Clover’s Quadrants folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
