GAME OVERVIEW
Picture a future where humanity’s learned to live with something called Neural Demonic Phenomenae—a phenomenon that’s equal parts terrifying and bizarre. The world’s far removed from the people who built it; their civilization’s long gone, but weirdly, some of their electronics refuse to die.
Phones give off light after hundreds of years with no power, computers glitch out in ways no system should, and sometimes you get the sense something is talking to you through the tech—something not entirely human. The line between machine and haunting starts to blur, and it never really drops back in place.
You experience all this through the eyes of one person. First-person lets you get up close, pick things up, inspect every corner—if you’re curious, you’re in luck. Dave.EXE

There’s an inspection system that pays off for the detail-obsessed. Every little thing has a secret, a clue, a thread that unravels a little more of what happened here, or what’s happening now. The world’s history is hidden in scraps, waiting for someone to string it all together.
It all looks a little like a sleepy Midwestern church town, but the details don’t fit. Maybe it’s the colors, maybe the way shadows move, but something feels just a bit warped. This place should feel homely, but it doesn’t. As you dig deeper, that feeling only grows. Even the familiar feels wrong.
All along, you’ll find tons of objects you can interact with or collect. Some you can really dig into—turn them in your hand, check for hidden engravings, listen for odd noises. Others do something when you touch them, sometimes in surprising ways. It’s not just for show; these moments help convince you that the world is alive, even if you’re not totally sure what’s living in it.
If you’re into slow-burn horror, environmental storytelling, and the kind of world where every detail matters, this is your kind of place. It’s a blend of exploration and psychological unease—where every whisper from a cursed device might be trying to tell you something, if you stop to listen. The secrets are there. You just have to be willing to look for them.
