GAME OVERVIEW

Sledders throws you into the wild with nothing but your snowmobile and a ton of open mountain to play with. Forget about checkpoints or following set tracks—no one’s holding your hand here.

You start off at the bottom and have to figure things out for yourself, carving your own way up the mountain. Every climb, every tricky patch of powder, it’s all up to you.

This game is all about mastering the details. You’ll be working the throttle, shifting your weight, countersteering—real snowmobile moves, not just pressing “go” and hoping for the best. You’ll wipe out, pick yourself up, and try the same line again and again until you finally nail it. Honestly, that’s the heart of the game; it’s tough, but it feels amazing when you start to figure it out.

The maps are massive, inspired by real backcountry in the north. You get a ridiculous amount of space to explore. There’s no clear “right path,” which keeps things interesting—one moment you’re inching your way up a steep face, and the next, you’re carving across a sidehill or dropping into untouched powder. Instead of worrying about winning, you end up obsessed with beating the mountain itself.

You can ride on your own or dive into multiplayer. Proximity voice chat makes it feel like you’re actually out there with friends—shouting directions, cheering each other on, or just laughing when someone eats it on a tough climb. The replay system is a nice touch too, letting you record your runs or chase your own ghost if you’re feeling competitive.

You also get to pick from licensed sleds—Polaris, Ski-Doo, Lynx—and with mod support, you can mess with custom maps and designs. In the end, Sledders is all about freedom and true-to-life riding. It nails that perfect mix of chill and challenge, and lets you carve out your own adventure in the snow.

Once The Sledders is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Sledders ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Sledders folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
