GAME OVERVIEW

Ground Zero throws you into a haunting, retro survival horror set in post-apocalyptic South Korea. After a meteor wipes out the country and plunges the world into chaos, two months go by before anyone dares to step in.

A tough Korean operative and her Canadian partner head into the ruins—and what they find is way more disturbing than they bargained for.

You wander through Busan, picking your way past mutated monsters and strange growths that have spread everywhere, warping the wreckage and everything living in it. The city’s gorgeous in a broken kind of way. Sometimes you walk through lonely coastal towns; sometimes temples older than history, or crumbling city blocks packed with tension. Every corner hides secrets and plenty of danger.

Combat keeps you on your toes. The main character fights with guns, knives, kicks, and counters—the whole package—and you earn Genome Points for fighting well. Rack up enough points and you can go after powerful upgrades and boost your skills.

Bosses are massive and terrifying. As you keep pushing forward, the mutations get freakier and fights hit harder, so you’re always adapting just to stay alive.

Ground Zero leans hard into classic survival horror. Fixed cameras and pre-rendered backgrounds give you that old-school vibe.

There are puzzles, customizable difficulty, and even tank controls if you want nostalgia. If you love digging into a game, there are unlockable outfits, extra modes, and hidden endings that reward you for exploring every shadow of its dark world.

Once The Ground Zero is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Ground Zero ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Ground Zero folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
