GAME OVERVIEW

TAMASHIKA is a stripped-down, fast-moving corridor shooter that doesn’t just test your reflexes—it gets in your head.

The game tosses you into a tight space with a semi-auto pistol and a tantō blade, then piles on layers like parrying, teleporting (“blinking”), and even astral projection.

There’s no fluff, no story cutscenes, no unlocks or checkpoints unless you’re in Ascend Mode. Just you, the corridor, and whatever focus you can muster. Convento

Every run is different since the corridor layout changes daily. You get about ten minutes per run—just enough time for things to heat up, but not long enough to relax. If you zone out, you’re done; one slip and you start all over.

What really sets TAMASHIKA apart is the way it drills down on the idea of attention. The game peppers in cryptic lines about illusion and consciousness, but they’re not just for show.

Everything points back to the need for total presence. You can’t coast or just grind your way through. Survive, and you’ve proved you can stay locked in at full intensity, right to the end.

It’s a curious mix of old-school arcade shooter and something you’d almost call meditative. Looks simple at first glance, but the real challenge is all mental. Lose your focus and the game loses you.
