Dragonkin: The Banished throws you right into a bleak, twisted world where dragon blood has left the land ruined and toxic.

Down below, ancient monsters crawl out from the dark, hungry to destroy whatever’s left. You play as a legendary hero with a single, brutal goal: wipe the Dragon Lords from existence.

Your whole journey centers around the City of Montescail—this mountain fortress is the last haven for humans. But it’s not just some menu screen or dull hub. The city changes based on what you do.

Hunt for resources, save survivors, and you’ll decide how it gets rebuilt, what services matter most, and the shape of the city itself. And yeah, you’re not alone.

Up to four people can team up online, tackling everything together—from your first steps in Montescail to the toughest challenges at the end. The city grows alongside your group’s choices, turning from barely surviving to a real stronghold against chaos.

To handle the dragons, you pick from four hero classes—Knight, Barbarian, Oracle, or Archer. Each one fights differently and shakes up your approach.

Instead of old skill trees, the game uses the Ancestral Grid. You loot skills from your enemies, then slot them into your grid with different modifiers.

You get to shape your hero just how you want. Gear evolves as you go, and you’ll have a trusty Wyrmling companion at your side. All this right in your hands, building a hero strong enough to finally end the dragons’ reign.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Once The Dragonkin: The Banished is downloaded, right-click the .zip file and select “Extract to Dragonkin: The Banished ”(You’ll need 7-Zip for this, get it here).
Open the Dragonkin: The Banished folder and run the exe application.
Have a blast playing! Remember to run the game as administrator. If you get any missing dll errors, check for a Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs in there.
