Corner Shop: Nightshift is one of those games that really messes with your head. The whole thing is built around the soul-crushing routine of retail—it’s the only thing keeping Adam Callahan from completely falling apart.

The game dropped on March 12, 2026, from Live Motion Games and publisher PlayWay. They throw you right into Adam’s shoes, burned out and broken after losing his wife and being cut off from his daughter.

It’s a weird limbo where Adam’s past haunts him—flickering lights, creepy phone calls, customers who somehow know way too much about his pain.

Gameplay keeps things tense. It mixes regular store management—stocking shelves, cleaning, making kebabs—with survival horror. You’re not just fighting to keep the shop running; you’re trying not to lose your mind.

Adam has to stay on top of his meds and keep stress down, or everything gets weird fast. Miss a dose or let the store get messy, and his paranoia cranks up. The environment starts twisting, and those dark figures lurking in the aisles start acting up.

There’s a story mode that runs about 15 hours, with four different endings depending on how you manage Adam’s mental health and whatever secrets lurk in the backroom.

If you’d rather get lost in endless night shifts, there’s an Endless Mode—no narrative, just the grind, and the horror keeps building. Streamer Mode is wild, too.

With Twitch integration, viewers can mess with you in real time by cutting the power, spawning nightmare customers, or triggering jumpscares when you least expect it. You get the feeling the store’s never really safe.
